Sublime Crocodile-Shaped Stadium To Be Built In Turkey

We all know that some of the most renowned stadiums in the world are nothing short of architectural masterpieces, and even though it’s pretty hard to come up with a fully original yet functional design for a stadium these days, we’re glad to say that one might be just around the corner. The Burasapor soccer team of Turkey might soon receive its own stadium, but this will be no ordinary stadium, mind you, because it will flaunt the shape of a coiling green crocodile.

This choice of design is pretty obvious for the fans of the Turkish soccer team, but just in case you don’t really follow its progress, we’ll tell you that the team members are often referred to as the “Green Crocodiles”. This spectacular stadium was initially suggested in 2010 and would feature a unique shape as well 2 massive spotlights that would shoot beams of light directly out of the crocodile’s eyes.

The project would measure 1.6 million square feet and would undoubtedly become one of the most incredible and visited football stadiums in the world once it would be complete.

Amazing Interior Renderings Of Boeing’s New Space Capsule

Boeing recently released an incredible set of renderings regarding the interiors of its brand new space capsule, which is scheduled to be ready for space flight in 2017. Dubbed CST-100, the capsule was initially designed as a means of transportation for astronauts and cargo pieces to the International Space Station, but as its design evolved, the capsule started to become more and more luxurious and comfortable.

Based on Boeing’s vast experience in commercial air travel, it comes as no surprise that its space capsule would feature interiors that are more orientated towards comfort and privacy. Mood lighting and a reduced number of windows are just some of the most important aspects regarding the interior of this futuristic capsule.

The CST-100 would be operated by a crew of 7 that would have complete control over its functions thanks to a high-end system based on tablets. As far as the passengers are concerned, they would be able to check their email or enjoy access to various online entertainment facilities during their flight.

The Smallest Quadcopter In The World Is Called Estes Proto X

Drones are definitely fun to pilot, no doubt about it, but even though their practicality is uncontested, their subtlety leaves something to be desired most of the time. Fortunately, brilliant minds around the world are working on creating smaller and smaller drones that would be able to sneak around undetected and gain access in some of the most inaccessible spaces.

The world’s smallest nano quadcopter is called Estes Proto X, and it measures no more than 1.8 inches in width. Despite the fact that it is barely larger than a quarter, this thing comes packed with impressive technologies such as a three-accelerometer gyro, a precision triple-axis and an auto-upright system that ensures stability and self-correction in mid air.

As far as range is concerned, this drone is capable of flying for about 10 minutes on a full charge, all thanks to a 3.7V 100mAh LiPo battery that can be recharged easily via USB. The Estes Proto X also comes with a 2.4GHz radio controller that can be used to steer it around without much effort.

First Hotel Booking App for Google Glass

You already know there’s tons of stuff you can do with Google Glass. But did you know you can now use it to find the nearest hotel to you in any city in the world? The Hotel Near Me app was recently launched to help you find the right accommodation for you, taking into account your personal needs and preferences.

The app was created by Destinia.com, an online travel agency, and it’s the first of its kind. It can browse through various options, see details about the hotels you are interested in, view some photos, maybe take a virtual tour, then check availability and finally book a room.

You can also ask for some personal arrangements for your room, just like in a regular reservation. After you’re done with that part, just ask Google Glass to take you to your destination. Using your GPS location data, the super-smart device will take you there step by step. It’s really that easy!

Super Exciting Air-Trekker Jumping Stilts

The Air-Trekker Jumping Stilts are made to completely change the way you walk, run, jump and have fun. Your regular running strides will increase to up to 9 feet, which should already give you an idea of how much faster you will be able to gallop with these technologically advanced stilts.

If you want some more exact figures, here they are: expect to reach 20 mph when you run towards your destination and be ready to jump as high as 10 feet into the air! Obviously, you can also add some backflips and other cool stunts to the mix for a really exciting experience and a hard-core workout.

Some notes

After my epic whine the other day, I went shopping with my sisters and got me some real cute things (shoes included) spending something like 50 euro. Pretty good eh?
I will try to post pictures of all that soon enough...when I find the camera charger...cough cough.
Also, tonight I'll be posting about Marion Cotillard, as promised.
Now I'm off to work, have a good day everyone, I won't!

Boom! Slash! Splatter! (brain explosion...tough luck)

School's been my latest and greatest time consumer, like for real. Meaning I haven't actually thought up anything or found anything around that I'd consider blog-worthy. And pretty much, that's that.
On a side note, my mastery of the Portuguese language is developing, now I can read and make out MOST of a conversation. Yes I feel proud yes you might not care.
Speaking of which, I just got my highlight of the day. (like in this bloody moment, and you might not care about this either, so you could navigate away for today, this whole post interests no one but me)
Evanescence released a never-before-heard-B-side to help the victims of Haiti. It's called Together Again, and I'm listening to it right now, it's totally pretty.

NEWS NEWS NEWS

Well my sis and I went to Udine (quite a nice little city) for three days to visit my bro and friends, which was quite fun.
Stay tuned for pictures.

So, where were we?

Something about interesting, right?
Well then, I suppose now's a time as good as any other to annouce I chopped my hair (quite literally chopped if I say so myself). It happend a while ago, like, still in Spain. It's nothing TOO draastic, but quite the amout of hair is gone, as Esty would know.
I meant to post pictures of it, but I've really got nothing to put my hands on right now, so stay tuned.
I'm sorry for not providing you with any REAL updates, (Oh, except that I bought a book of Pablo Neruda's poetry, but you're probably not interested.) but such is life for now.
We all go through our respective dry spells.

Promises

Not much to say in these days, primarily because there's not much to do, except read. And when things are like this, Facebook has the annoying tendency of being a better outlet for foolish updates.
No matter, we shall change that. Make this blog a worthwhile occupant of its internet space. Yessire you can count on me.
So, where do we start? I dunno. I'll post some cool stories when I have some cool stories to post about. But for now, I think I'll go to the library.
P.S. Read Orwell, he's amazing. And listen to Rachmaninov. And Chopin. And have fun while you can.
Ciao.

I guess it's officially official....

So it has been for the past month.
Yeah, you guessed it.
I'll miss Ozie, I'll miss Esty, I'll miss Esty's boys. I'll miss being a foreigner, speaking a different language, having to do with a different culture. I'll miss the city, large, modern, full of life. I'll miss Ozie's and mine weekly trips to it on our freeday, and coming back more exhausted than when we left. I'll miss L'Eliana, Mercadona, Open Core, and the Emo Square. I'll miss training. I'll even miss the two kilometers from the metro stop to our house. I swear. I'll miss the spanish food. I'll miss Eman and all the retarded names we gave each other for all the sports we'd challenge each other to (Jean Claude, Buga Buga...)
Bah...to heck with it all....I'll miss Spain.

I really should be posting...

...but I'm not. I've been back in Spain for the past week, without my sisters. I say, it's rather cool to have a room for yourself. Won't you guys stay away a while longer? But nothing's really happening worthy to post about. I love my room more than ever these days. I stay there, play piano, read, write, draw, or whatever. It's cool. Ozie's rooming with me now, so it's fun. The camera stayed in italy, since my sisters think they've got more interesting stuff to document, (Mina, you would have loved pictures of the clutterd room...not messy, just full) so no pictures for you.

I have a small confession to make...

...my "new hairstlye" is a wig.
I'm sorry for crying wolf wolf, but next time you see a picture of me with short hair, it'll be real.
Again, I'm sorry.
I hadn't realized some people felt so strongly about my hair.

Hi

Yeah, I've been a deliquent blogger, (hahaha, I love that name, so retared). But I'm back, and FULL of excuses. Which I won't unleash on you, any of you. But since peeps have been yelling at me to update and yaddyyaddyyadda, here I am. Racking my brian for something interesting, I find nothing. I would post pictures, but I have to get them off the camera, and I'm to lazy now. So I shall leave you with this from last satruday...
Me and Mishu saw some emo hipp-hoppers in Valencia, and I'm like, "Man those emos are so sad!" And Mishu's like, laughing and yelling in my ear..."Hahahahah the emos are so sad! Get it get it?"
LOL.
Whatever.

Aqua

Yayyyyy it's over!
Meaning the three days of working at Aqua, i.e. the shopping center that hires us each week for ballooning. But this time,in occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix here in Valencia, which by the way is a BIG thing, the owner deiced to hire us to do publicity for the mall. Fun fun.
He said he was gonna hire models for the job but then went with us....cus we're so pretty. Am I supposed to feel good about that??? Nope.
So yeah, pretty much what we had to do was walk around Valencia for six hours straight handing out flyers. Thankfully no camera was available so we all can be spared footage of me attacking people with little papers.
