The Prodigal Returns

Hello.
After and insane amount of time, in which this blog laid in comatose, (I shudder to think back on the last date's entry) in part because of work, in part as a personal change in direction, I feel it's time for it to reawaken to life.
As I deeply hate writing strung-out introductions, I'll leave it to this and welcome anyone who's interested back.

Award Season Commences

The Golden Globes are happening! yay! Will be posting my best and worst tomorrow.

Happy New Year and Anoucements

Happy New Year everyone! After a crazy month-and-a-half things are back to normal, and so this blog is back in action. I appreciate your patience and understanding, as of now Diamond of Doom is functioning once more.

Stars Sans Stylist

Considering that I have commenced our month-and-a-half long Christmas job, I shan't have much time to dedicate to this blog. Actually, between coming home after eleven hour shifts and trying to get some training done after that, I doubt I'll even feel like blogging. But I'll try.
I'm too brain dead to think about something to write myself, so I'll link and interesting article instead.

Disclaimer

I want to apologize for having slacked in my blogging these past few days. We've had an extra long weekend here in Italy ( the 1st of November is holiday) and I've been lazing around with my family.
Back to business.
See you guys tomorrow.
Ciao, Ezy

Gushing

My sister and I bought a Vintage Yves Saint Laurent off Ebay, and it's here. It's a darling. And I'll post it soon.

Notes On "Alice"

I loved it.
And I could stop right here.
Put simply, the Burton-Bonham-Depp-Elfman cocktail did it again. It was probably the least "Burtonish" (let's describe the undescribable like that), but the imaginary quality, the costume choices, the colors, the visionary experience, oh those were all there. If you enjoy a good piece of art, go watch it. And if you already have, then tell me what you think.
I'll shut up have a look at the costumes now.

Before wrapping this up, I just wanted to announce that I was contacted by BlogInterviewer.com and have been asked to submit an interview for their site. It's nothing big but it's my fist interview and you can imagine I'm pretty excited.
I'm including the link right here.

Humph

Weeeeeell,
So I'm trying to find tickets to Denmark for next year and that's not working very well....can you believe that Ryanair flies FROM Denmark and not TO???? Ridiculous I tell you. However, Easyjet has some pretty good options and I'm looking into those.
Also, I'm working every day in Toys Center for the Christmas season, which takes a big, evil bite out of hours that should go into my schoolwork. (working through 4 courses of math isn't exactly easy you know)
The weather right now is gorgeous, I LOVE autumn in the north of Italy, everything turns misty and misterious and you just want to spend your days outside watching the trees turn red.

Should I?

Should I be posting? I think the answer it yes. But no matter. Ozie's coming in like two days, I got a really nice bag for my birthday, I'm looking for I job a school that dosen't invlove selling my soul to whoever wants it to get the money to get in, I'm gonna party with my friends, listen to good music, read(I just got a book of the entire works of Federico Garcìa Lorca), draw, play piano, drink coffee, play with my cosin, and not mind the online world so much....oh, and also shopping.

P.S. I'll soon blog about an amazing muscian everyone should know about.

September

Now I think september is going to be my happy month, because people I love are coming to see me. Now let's take this chronologically.
First on the list is my beloved Fish, Ozie herself. I'm not quite sure just how long she's staying, considering every time I ask her she forgets to give an answer. But she's coming and that's what counts.
Next is CLAIRE!!! yay! after over a year in my case, almost two in the rest of my family's, we get to see her again. (3 cheers to Luca for being so awesome and organizing the whole thing, and I'm waiting for you to get here too.)
Last up are Esty and family. I'm so looking forward to seeing the boys and play aliens with them. Also, I'm expecting to have happy funny talks with their mother.
I'm going to be happy in September.

So, where were we?

Something about interesting, right?
Well then, I suppose now's a time as good as any other to annouce I chopped my hair (quite literally chopped if I say so myself). It happend a while ago, like, still in Spain. It's nothing TOO draastic, but quite the amout of hair is gone, as Esty would know.
I meant to post pictures of it, but I've really got nothing to put my hands on right now, so stay tuned.
I'm sorry for not providing you with any REAL updates, (Oh, except that I bought a book of Pablo Neruda's poetry, but you're probably not interested.) but such is life for now.
We all go through our respective dry spells.

Promises

Not much to say in these days, primarily because there's not much to do, except read. And when things are like this, Facebook has the annoying tendency of being a better outlet for foolish updates.
No matter, we shall change that. Make this blog a worthwhile occupant of its internet space. Yessire you can count on me.
So, where do we start? I dunno. I'll post some cool stories when I have some cool stories to post about. But for now, I think I'll go to the library.
P.S. Read Orwell, he's amazing. And listen to Rachmaninov. And Chopin. And have fun while you can.
Ciao.

I have a small confession to make...

...my "new hairstlye" is a wig.
I'm sorry for crying wolf wolf, but next time you see a picture of me with short hair, it'll be real.
Again, I'm sorry.
I hadn't realized some people felt so strongly about my hair.

Hair....for my hairbrush.

Yeah, I did it. Enjoy! And tell me what you think while you're at it.

To my Brother, yeah, he deserves it.

Well Ema, you passed both your exams, the one we were all freaked out about and the one I was sure you'd do great on (in fact you did). Anyway, bravo bravo! You're now an offically diplomated freak with a trombone! I'm sure you'll have a great career and remember to invite me over when you're the first trombone of the Berliner.

Updatessssss...

Yeah, I haven't been blogging for lack of interesting happenings. I can promise though, that in Febuary some fun things will start appearing on this blog, don't give up on me just yet. Whatever, for now, be statisfied to know that I must do a lot of school these days. So pray for me that my brain doesn't explode and die.
P.S. Aren't we a good looking family??
(I was only 15 there...sigh, if only...)
