i think the first stilettos i ever bought were black patent leather mary janes and they were four inches tall. and at the time, four inches were tall. then in came the YSL tribs, CL's hidden one inch platform pumps, and when the McQueenadillos came into the picture, my "tall" mary janes were practically considered kitten heels.

so over the past 2 years, my shoe collection has grown in quantity AND height. from dolce vitas to j. campbells to topshop wedges (my FAVE), it's hard to imagine not wearing anything below 4.5.

now, how will i get my hands on the babies pictured above?

spring's new trend--perforated leather handbags from ysl to prada to jimmy choo and of course, my favorite..BALENCIAGA. they're introducing a fresh new look to their famous handbags in their spring/summer 2010 collection. i have yet to see one in person but this picture sold me! and the color..oh the color! lil sis and i have been a collector of bbags (balenciaga bags) for quite some time. it's a sickness, really. we once came home with two bbags (a navy giant and a grey suede city) and i literally felt nauseous for the entire week :/

time to put away the fall colored balenciagas. spring is in the air!

an Education

carey mulligan is like the natalie portman of england to me. she's so cute! love her style..and LOVED her in AN EDUCATION. the storyline was whimsical and taunting...and of course the costumes, circa the '60s in LONDON, were fantastic as well.

& the prada dress she wore at the oscars was hands down the best. idk what those E! people were thinking!

PR TYCOON kelly cutrone of people's revolution knows her shit. lately i've been debating on whether to continue pursuing my dream of becoming a publicist, or going back to school. after reading this delightful little article from nymag.com off my bloglovin feed, i experienced a little jolt of motivation. publicists CAN make a living...a 6 figure one not to mention ;) oh, the possibilities.
