Valentines Day Calendar Countdown.

I'm just a little bit late... oh well, it's still a good idea!

Love actually has created a V-Day calendar countdown, and the ideas are so cute!! These ideas couldn't be simpler. They are cheap and quick. In the end, it's the thought that counts. It's saying, "baby I totally thought about you today". We can do that right?!

Kissing Garland

This idea came from Life is Sweet. I thought it was such a cute idea! There are so many awesome garland pieces out there, but this whole polaroid/kissing theme she's got goin' on I'm totally loving! Enjoy!

Valentines Art... LOVE IT!

I found this beauty over at Craft-O-Maniac. She's got an awesome tutorial, it couldn't be easier. I think instead of black and white stripes, I'd do pink and white with maybe a thin black strip in there somewhere. You know me though, in love with all things color!! This is SO cute!

Valentines Day Coupons

So while my sisters were in town, we crafted. All. night. long. It was nothing short of amazing. We made some Valentines Cards/Coupons for our husbands. They were SUPER easy and turned out really cute!

First, I thought of some coupons my husband would like... they're not all completely appropriate, so I won't list them all! ha ha!! A few include things like, a day full of nag free sports, wild cards, a morning to sleep in, a shoulder and back massage... you get the idea. Just come up with some things you think you're husband would like!

I typed what I wanted in a text box, right adjusted (so I could add cutsie paper to the left side of the coupon). After I printed them out, I simply cut them to the size I wanted. I used the text boxes to give me a basic outline.

After I printed them out, in pink, red and white, I added some cute scrapbook paper on one of the ends. I had a heart punch, so I added that in there too. I cut the ends of the paper with those pretty old school fancy schmancy scissors. Pretty fun.
Alright. The card itself. I took a 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper and cut it in half. Then I folded it in half. Not too hard. Then I cut out one rectangle in different paper, and glued it to the bottom of the inside card, to make what is now the folder pocket. Make sense?
I cut a few hearts out with my cricut, and a little I love you sign. If you don't have a cricut, you could easily print out an 'I love you' designed in word or something, on pink paper, and then cut it out tracing around a clip out heart.

This really didn't take long. I would guess, after coming up with the coupons, an hour. The right side has the coupons, and the left side, well I'm going to type up a really nice letter or something. Thoughtful, cheap and super cute. Hope you enjoy!

LOVE and some Homemade Garland

These are the precious kids over at Our Scoop and I just love how they're holding the LOVE letters!! Isn't that such a great idea? Well don't forget it when you have four kids! CUTE IDEA!

This is a Valentines ornament I found over at Scrapper Girl. Gather the kiddos, take a few pictures and walah, you have some super cute garland. Fun idea yeah?!

Gift Ideas

Plan a Valentine’s Day treasure hunt. When was the last time your boyfriend searched for lost gems or a buried treasure chest? A Valentine’s Day treasure hunt can be inside the house, yard, park, neighborhood, city – or even a neighboring town or city. Prepare clues that lead him from one place to another. You can have as many as 15 clues, or as few as three. The last clue could lead to your bedroom, a candlelit bathtub full of bubbles, or a hotel room you’ve booked. Prepare the “treasure chest” with candles, music, roses, and chocolate…and have fun loving your man!

K that's awesome. When I make it I'll add pictures, but I wanted to give you some ideas because the day is coming up! I'm going to cut out some cute envelopes on my cricut, and print some clues on cute valentines paper. I'll make you guys a template, and post it later, so check back. Then I'll stuff the clues in the envelopes with maybe some candy and confetti and stuff and that last clue will lead... well, you know!

My Valentines Desktop

Jackpot. The Shabby Shoppe offers FREE calendar templates made for your desktop. Is this not amazing? It's totally amazing. They have one for every month. And as you can see, they are adorable. I love that they're like a digital scrapbook page. How fun would it be to make a mini calendar? Even a full size calendar for grandma and grandpa? EVEN sending family the JPEG's or PDF's so they can put them up as their own desktop picture! I know, I just think these are awesome. You do need to have photoshop elements, I believe. I could be wrong. Go check it out though.

More Subway Art

K. Check this out. So super cute! I think I like these better than the first ones I posted. I got them over at todays fabulous finds. Her blog is really awesome, if you haven't check it out, hop on over there!!

I love the roses at the bottom!

Look at all the designs!

Seasonal Shelves

I love the House of Smith's. I must have this wall when we get our own home! It's a distinct space for holiday or even every day decor. I'm totally copying all of these! You know I will too. She was on Studio 5 today. I LOVE HER! Anyway, she's a guest over at Censational Girl and that's where I found these pictures and a bunch of before's and after's of her entire house. Go check it out!

um... Christmas is over dude

Shut up. It isn't. ... it is? I knew it. Made me so sad. I cried the day I took the tree down. HA funny funny joke for those of you who didn't catch that!

I JUST found these and thought to myself, why couldn't you do a Valentine one? Or a St. Patties day one... or Halloween one... or well, you get my drift. Super cute huh?!!! I found them over at A Diamond in the Stuff. When I finally move out of my parents, and have room to craft, I will make this and show you how cute a V-day one would be. If you make one, PLEASE PLEASE share!! I'm in love!

Hearts... and hearts... and some family bonding time!

Family Fun. Again. Bonding time... again! HA! Seriously though, make this with the kiddos while watching a family friendly movie or for family night or something and then put it up on the fireplace with a bunch of other V-Day decorations. Super cute.

These cookies are scrumpdiddlyumpcious. Check back in a few days for my own homemade sugar cookie hearts... ontop of hearts... ah! So yummy!

Never too much V-Day

Alright. I'm back. Sorry for the hiatus!
These pictures were found in the family fun magazine, which I love oh so much!! I thought they were really cute, simple ideas for Valentines Day!! An we all could use a few more ideas for one of my very most favorite holidays!!

If Boston were old enough, I would totally make these with him. Something cute for neighbors and best friends, really easy and simple. But most of all, a good activity to bond with those little kidlets. You can never have too much bonding!

Okay. I loved this idea mostly because rolos are my FAVORITE!! Love them! I would definitely make that "I like the way you roll" cuter... cause I think it's really plain and the handwriting is... um... not my fav. Nontheless, cute idea!
HA! Now this one just plain cracks me up!! It could be a cute little snack on V-day!
And again, another bonding activity. What can't buddy be older?! V-day flakes! SO cute!! Have the kids put them up all over the house. An idea I had was to write something sweet about someone on the front of them and then flake their room. So the brother could write a bunch of nice things for sister and then suprise them with a heart flaked room!

Valentines Subway Art

Tatertots has the cutest subway art tutorial! I was going to make her halloween one in October, but never got around to it. I wonder if you could do Halloween on the front and Valentines on the back or something. Anyway, I thought it was so cute!!

Valentines Day Tree

My friend Sky had pictures of her Valentines Tree up on Facebook and I just had to ask if I could use them! Is this not the best idea ever? A way to preserve Christmas just a little bit longer!! So, instead of a tear jerking day when the ornaments come down, install a new tradition. Take down the Christmas ornaments, but keep the tree up and decorate for Valentines Day!! This would be so fun to do with roommates or kids, I'm just in love with this idea! And look at the Victoria Secret bags? Ha ha ha!! So cute!

T-Shirt Pom Poms

I think these are so cute. I have also seen pom poms used as a baby mobile... a few really large ones, a medium sized one and some small pom poms right above the crib. I don't believe they were made out of T-shirts though... I think it was tissue paper. It was so adorable and gave the room a huge punch. Maybe I'll find the picture around here somewhere for ya! Check out the tutorial over at Craftaholics Anonymous. SO easy!

Valentine's Wreath

K, I took the pictures of the craft I made all by myself... just didn't get around to uploading them on my computer. Tomorrow. Promise!

But aren't these so cute? I've got to bust out a movie, some delicious red felt and scissors for this baby! I think I'm in love. I found the idea from Eighteen25, and they found the idea from The Idea Room... so we've got some blog hops goin' around. Anyway, hope you love them as much as I do! Head on over to the idea room though, she's got a fantabulous tutorial and it really couldn't be easier. I'm so making my husband help me cut out circles while we watch Friday Night Lights!! :-)

Check out her decor! The red, white and pink candies in the apothecary jars... LOVE it! Oh and don't forget those cute plates.

Another great wreath idea, posted by the lovely Tatertots and Jello. She's got a tutorial over there as well. At first I thought the felt was cuter... but then I couldn't decide. And now I'm just torn. Maybe I'll have to make both! Haha!

And this one, found here. Love the decor. Check out the XO blocks...

Valentine Kiss Jars

How cute are these!?! This is such a quick, cheap and super cute gift for grandparents! SOOOOOO CUTE!! I am in love!

Another variation of the Valentine Kiss Jars, found over at naptime journal
