on the evening of NYC's FASHION NIGHT OUT on Sept. 10, the one and only SIR KARL LAGERFELD will be dropping in at Avery Fisher Hall to receive the Museum at F.I.T.'s Couture Council's FASHION VISIONARY AWARD. KL is such an inspiration, such an innovative artist, and 100% deserving of this recognition (not that he needs it - the man's an ICON!). congrats, Karl!

BEHIND THE LENS: LOCALE MAGAZINE EDITORIAL SPREAD, HOLIDAY 2010

this was my first project styling for Locale magazine as the in-house stylist, and this shoot couldn't have been more perfect for this occasion.
story: four OC girls from four different OC-based bands, gathered together for a faux girl group -- on a road trip while on tour, when their bus decides to break down.
what should they do? dress up & play music of course!

Angelina Jolie: The Sound of Redemption.

Angelina Jolie started the "Salt" promotional tour in North America, looking great, though wearing black. She then had a real downfall of style during the Asian leg of the tour, and returned to stunning best here in Europe.

She surprized me by wearing color, and not her much favoured black. After having "Hummed" at her a few posts ago, this acknowlegdement is in order.

I can't wait to see what else she'll bring us before the end of this tour.
