it's spring/summertime! instead of driving around, take out the old cruiser...or maybe dress up in really cute retro outfits & have a little photoshoot by the beach standing on/around the old cruiser. bruna tenorio in H&M's summer'10 catalogue.

BANG: the newest fragrance by sir marc jacobs. but this time its for the boys. and for the FIRST time ever, Mj will be facing his own product. it's about damn time this beautiful man strips down. hmm..i wonder what this will smell like. perhaps sandalwood, gardenias, and a dash of narcissism??from WWD, in an exclusive interview w MJ, marc said: "Posing nude was business partner Robert Duffy’s idea, said Jacobs on Thursday in an exclusive interview. “Robert and I work closely with Coty on these projects, and he said, ‘Marc, you look so great now — you should be the model for men’s fragrance.’ My immediate reaction was, I don’t know. But then I came to see that it made sense. Men’s fragrance, unlike women’s in a certain way, is very personal. It’s a layer on top of skin — for women, it can be like changing a makeup color, but not for men."

did you know that my first job ever was at American Eagle during my senior year in high school? yeah. AE used to be waaay cool back in the day and i was super proud to be one of the gals in overly-layered outfits with those cool headphones walking around the store. then, we all graduated and grew up & out of that all-american trend. so what does AE do to revamp their look? hire supermodel Aline Weber to face the newest ad campaigns, of course! Aline, who frequents the catwalks of balenciaga, dries van noten, givenchy, stella mccartney, etc., definitely fits the profile of that all-american beachy girl.
AE, i'll always have a soft spot for you.

and here it begins. our mother has decided to put some of her Hermes babies up for adoption...and the first to go is the Constance - petite, bright, and versatile. will be up for auction on eBay in the near future...please e-mail me if you are interested so i can post it up for you quicker. i know for some of you, this may be considered a COIN purse compared to your gargantuan sized hobos, city's, and bowlers, but might i say that small handbags are coming back??? i mean, do you really need to tote around your whole life everywhere you go? no, didn't think so. small bag, less baggage, i say.

zooey deschanel, darling of the indie film world is defffinitely a "hot" commodity as of late. from the quirky, neurotic roommate she played opposite SJP in failure to launch, toeveryone's favorite heartbreaker on the epic (500)days of summer..."to die by your side is such a heavenly way to diiie.." to the real life, half of the indie-pop-folk band, SHE&HIM, Zooey can pretty much do everyyything and with such grace.
